Dr. Basave Gowda, Ph.D. in Seed Science and Technology, having experience of 34 years in the field of Seed Science and Technology. Served as Prof. & Special Officer (Seed) at UAS, Raichur. Presently, working as Registrar at UAS, Bangalore. Received more than 15 awards for recognizing his service in the field of Seed Science and Technology. He has contributed exclusively in Seed Science and Technology and Promotion of Seed Research and Quality Seeds in large scale and developed many technologies and initiated several programmes in education, research, extension & administration. Guided more than 31 students both at Master’s and Doctoral degree programmes and he had wide exposure and published more than 200 research papers including technical bulletins and books.

Dr. Gopinath G., Former Prof. and Administrative Officer at UAS, Bangalore, having Ph.D. in Horticulture and served for more than 37 years. Guided 26 Master’s and Doctoral degree students and published 37 research papers, 5 bulletins, 4 books. And, received several recognitions for his contribution.

Dr. V. Sankaran, having Ph.D. in Seed Science and Technology, served as more than 35 years in National Seeds Corporation as General Manager. Presently, serving as Consultant for various seed companies in India and received many recognitions for his contribution.

Mr. Vinay Kumar M.R., B.Sc. in Agriculture having experience of 3 years in the field of sugarcane production technology, marketing and allied activities and served as a Division Cane Officer at Bannari Amman Sugars Limited. Presently, working as Assistant (contract) at Registrar’s office UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru.
